I'm on the verge of the holiday blues… I'm BORED… Yep… After less than one week of holidays… Been going out quite alot and all… Anyway, the Kangoo owner messaged to tell me that the auntie got a cheaper bumper so now I just owe 195… It's not a bad deal really. I really think they're quite reasonable, allowing me to pay by installments and all.
I'm applying for a bunch of internships now. MDA, Lucasfilms Singapore, NAC, and even the censorship board (though you don't really intern there. =.= More like make popcorn for the people while they watch and censor the films). Shall be sending out my resumes later after I finish this post. I'm going to be visiting my brother in Canada from the 15th till the 22nd of May. Anyone wants some wine? The place is famous for their vineyards and wineries. Haven't seen my little brother in a while now. Wonder if he's cut his hair recently. Hmmm…
Worked insanely to get the 140 dollars to help Sharon pay for her first installment for her Macbook Pro. Pissed me off majorly when she realised that she only needed 30 dollars. Felt so bloody angry and tired, like all my efforts were for nought. BAH. Anyway, alot of people seem to be buying the Macbook Pro… I'm going to wait. I wanted one quite some time ago, but decided against it. I guess it's a good idea now. Intel and Apple are working together to come up with the new chip that is especially created for the new Ridiculously fast broadband. To the ignorant, Ridiculously Fast Broadband (RFB) is the new system that is coming online in Singapore later this year (sometime around my birthday) that will allow you to access RFB from ANY part of Singapore, be it a hawker centre, carpark, toilet, jungle, etc etc. And it's ridiculously faster than all current broadband speeds. And I thought my broadband was fast. Soooo… To have a computer that can handle RFB is essential. Currently released Macbook Pros (15" or 17") do not come equipped with this chip (whose name suddenly eludes me =.= I hate growing older), and thus might not be as fast as the newer yet-to-be-released computers with this chip. So I shall sit and wait. Lol… And an observation I noted… Everyone's computer seems to break down when there is a computer sale. =.= The new-age Singaporean. When there is a sale, break what is perfectly fine so you can get a new one. Bah.
My parents are going to be away for the next week or so. Yay! The house to myself. Anyway… Here are some pictures I took when there was a jam along Bukit Timah Road… No one said it was illegal to take photos while driving!!!

Watching sunsets from my car alone with Jason Mraz oozing out of my speakers was strangely pleasant and relaxing… Sighhh…
Lastly… I recently bought some games to pass my time during the holidays. I got Need For Speed: Most Wanted… Lol. I like the gameplay in NFSU better though. It's freer and all. This one is kind of strict, almost regimental with regards to challenges and such. Plus the cars are cool but get unlocked really slowly. They have cool cars though. Like Gallardo and TT, a bunch of GTs… Meep. I also got The Complete Sims. I have a sudden urge to screw up someone's life. But it's rather fun really. I played the original Sims and this complete set is a great improvement. Very enjoyable. Though my house is overrun by stray animals now. =.=
Sharon's coming over on Monday to watch Sympathy for Lady Vengence with me. Shall try to aquire more buttery popcorn. The last pack I microwaved was kinda depressing. Oh well. time to go apply for jobs!

Sighhhhhh
Today I was so worried about meeting th Kangoo owner and paying and all… But it wasn't that bad… Okay. Actually it was. 370 dollars. Garh. I coughed up the last of my money in the bank (90 dollars) and added the last ten dollar note in my wallet to make it 100 as a down payment. The owner is going to pay the rest first then I pay him back in installments. This probably wouldn't have been possible without the presence of my unlikely hero today…

Sharon argued with the guys (plural, mind you) when I was too tired and scared to negotiate further. My hero!!! And she still called Mazda for me to get a quote for my paint (a whopping 500-600 dollars???!!!) and then called the guy to scold him for me and even hugged me when I cried… After the whole thing anyway… I don't cry in front of strangers…
Sigh… Left with 1 dollar in my bank… Maoh…
Anyway… we went to drown our sorrows in movies… Back to back movies!!! We watched 16 blocks and Invisible Waves. The former was quite cool really… =3 but the second one was very arty farty… I thought some of the camera angles were kinda forced and seemed strained… But other than that, I liked how the film didn't show the bits I thought there would be (i.e., someone hacking someone up) so I left feeling… I don't know how to explain. Bah!
After the shows, we couldn't decide if we were hungry so we went for supper/dinner at Orchard. Parked at the OPEN CAR PARK OPPOSITE CINE (yes… I learnt my lesson) after Sharon suggested we go around there for dinner… Yummy dinner… Got a tummy ache now though…

Finally I can send pictures to my com from my phone… Finally… After so long… Captions will be below the photograph…

This, according to Trina, is the fugliest thing in the world.

The insane number of transitional shapes on the table… Gotta love 3D class…

The pen that signed the rest of my fate away… Used this to sign my major selection form…

Sarah has an uncanny ability to make REALLY UGLY food faces… =.=

Sunset from my car… Meep!

4D class… Sighhh… One of the only times I wore my maroonish stripey tie…

ULTIMATE PROOF that NTU's architecture is just full of rubbish… Stairs to blank walls… =.=

THIS is the picture of the year. Explanation: This was after 4D class when we were doing the 3D table project in the 4D room. The keyboard is for us to make some sound effects and tracks for our 4D projects. Joanne put the photo there and started bashing away at the keys, claming that the zebra was "dancing" and the picture wobbled around… =.=

Been working on my latest project… The design concepts for the next annual golf tournament between St Nicholas Girls School and Catholic High School…
Wanted to model it after this classic poster of our dear Uncle Sam…

So I tried to work with what I had… My digital camera… And my bed head.

You can't really see it in this picture, but I'm decked out in my pajamas (bright orange shorts and crappy brown tee) and my hair is beyond messy and flat. =.= Oh well. As long as it doesn't seem that way…
I wanna go Zouk with the gang too… =( Maooohhhh… -scratches at the door-
Oh well… Went about looking for jobs in the classifieds… Found one about product photographers… Some people have commented that my photography has improved so maybe I'll apply for that… Might get an internship with MDA maybe… Maybe… Here are some pictures from my 3D documentation…

Meep… I wanna be outtttttttt…
Oh ya… That Kangoo owner called me today to tell me the price of the repairs… The workshop quoted him 450 dollars so he went to this old uncle who quoted him for the replacement of the bumper, knocking out of the dents and paint repairs that came up to 390… I don't have that kinda money right now… Sigh… In fact, I don't have ANY money… On the bright side, the 1st is coming up next week… Money… If I get any… Sighhhh… Going down to the workshop with him tomorrow… Hope we can sort it out… Maoh…

Something happened yesterday that I didn't quite expect. I'm not sure what it means. And I'm afraid to interpret it wrong. I've always interpreted things wrong. Maybe this is one of those times.

Sigh… Quite tired now… Yesterday was the last submission, which entailed the 3D final project of a new product and the documentation folder… Stayed up till 2am to do the pages cause I spent the entire day suntanning at the beach with Sharon the day before. Come to think about it… I haven’t been blogging for a while. Okay. Start from Saturday then.
Saturday:
I had this etiquette class thing my aunt asked me to go to. So when they came to pick me up, I drove behind Avin kor kor to follow them to Suntec… My aunt and Avin had to go to a chiropractor… Sounded so painful. With all the cracking joints and the loud crashing tables… -shudder- Anyway, the chiropractor was Korean but studied in America. He reminds me of Kinston (or however you spell his name), my cousin’s husband. Then again, alot of people look like him. -shrug-
The etiquette course was funny. I kinda expected it to be stiff and boring. But the speaker spoke with such utter bimbocity that it was difficult to maintain my boredom. The lunch they provided was HUGE. This HUGE LUMP OF CHICKEN… Accompanied by smaller lumps of potato and veggies (they claimed it was “seasonal vegetables” but all there was on the plate was TWO brocolli and a cauliflower).
Anyway, after the course, I went to pick Sharon and we went prawning at our new favorite prawning… Space. Ya… ANYWAY… I caught ALOT more prawns this time! I normally catch one every 3 hours… I caught at least 7 this time!! We ended up with 10 prawns. The uncle came over and saw we had so little prawns then brought me to the back and poured MORE prawns into the plastic bag… THE UNCLE ROCKS MAN!!! So we went back to my place with 20 prawns and joined my sister’s bye-bye bbq… We didn’t bbq the prawns tho… Oddness… After eating and the mandatory phototaking, we went back to my room to burn movies and such. Burnt Brokeback Mountain and Transamerica for her while we watched Invader Zim. Let her watch one episode of the L Word as well and she turned it off halfway. =.= Oh well. Speaking of the L Word… I GOT THE SOUNDTRACK!!!! Dammit I love the music…
Sunday:
Lu went back on Sunday morning and her friends came to see her off. We had breakfast with Uncle Francis cos Shu Man was going back too. =.= Not a clue if I spelt her name right either. Anyway, after that, we went back home to slack around. Was about to fall asleep when Sharon confirmed the outing that day. So I got back up and changed for the beach and headed off. We went to Sentosa to Sunbathe… Hmm… Went for lunch first and she KEPT complaining that the sun was gone while we were eating and all that. Then later when we started tanning, she complained the sun was too hot. =.= And refused to go swimming with me either even after “Ying ying let’s go swimming”. =.= Oh well.
I don’t think I tanned alot… Maybe a lil browner but that’s it.
We went to watch Take The Lead after that. Nice show. Super cool dancing. A bit messy camera angles but I suppose it was necessary to bring out the essence of the dances. Very tiring day though I did absolutely nothing…
Monday:
Submission! Woke up at 730 to print the papers but it was only done at 930. =.= Stupid printer. It was only 10 pages! Sped off to school with cup noodles in my pocket just in time for the presentation. After the presentation, I handed in my folder and we all went to celebrate Joanne’s birthday in the Computer Lab. Sushi, cup noodles and cake! Lol. Weird combination. Everyone started to clear up the 2D room first and Amanda and Trina were trying to push each other down the hall on wheely chairs… Kinda pointless if you think about it… But they managed to get there… =.= Trina migrated her chair to the com lab downstairs and we all watched Mirror Mask… I want the movie… T.T I only watched it halfway… -cries-
Anyway, drove to TP to pick Sharon and we went to Cine to watch another movie. I love movies… Anyway, we watched Eight Below, before which we went downstairs to the food court and had Ban Mian and ice longan… The Ban Mian was sooo nice dammit!!! I shall hunt for more delicious ban mians…
Anyway, after the show, we went back home just in time for dinner. Watched that new show So You Think You Can Dance… Lol. I like the big dude… He moves even better than half the skinny dudes in the competition. So cool.
Might be taking up breakdancing… Shall go source for classes now…
Plenty of things to do today… have a committee meeting at 2 at Holland Village… Design the SNGS-CHC golf tournament banner and poster and postcards… BY TODAY… wth.. And YY just messaged be about something at 11… @.@ Oh well…
PARKING AT CINE IS HORRIBLE… 11 dollars.. =.= I would rather park opposite…

Today I presented 2D… Finally… The end of 2D… I feel kinda bad though… That everyone spent so much time on their graphic novels… And I barely scrapped time to do it… Doesn't help that I've been horrendously sick for the past week. I can't even drive properly now… =.= Oh well…
SHARON STOLE MY BRA… I'M HOLDING YOUR SHORTS HOSTAGE TILL YOU RETURN IT TO ME…
Tada…
Quite tired… Went to watch The Wild with Sharon just now… Then had dinner at The Simple Life… It's been a while since I went there… That manager guy who recognizes us isn't there anymore… I bought the L Word Season 2 soundtrack… I LOVE THE MUSIC… GODDAM IT… Freaking nice… Though the titles of the tracks are kinda wrong… I.e., Lesbian… Dry humping… Masturbation…
What kinda song title is that… =.=
Oh well… ezgirl is my new idol… Going to learn to mix songs like her… Amazing stuff…
Regardless of the titles…
Whole weekend to slack now since I've finished my 3D just now… Tiny thing though… I feel like such a slacker… Sighhhhh…

Lol… It's been a long time (3 days) since I last blogged… Been bogged down with work that I'm not doing, and deadlines I can't be bothered about. I just spent 8 straight hours in front of a computer yesterday cramming my 4D. I'm quite happy with it too. Let's just hope it works… =p I still need to do the narration and all. My voice sounds like a horse. If horses could talk, that is. Finished up the sound tracks then went to meet Sharon for dinner at Orchard. Really helped clear my head… I felt like my brain was going to burst… I'm in the middle of sorting my 2D photos now… Still feel insanely sore from last night… Plus my voice is going to just go any time now… I'm sending the photos for binding… Make a nice book of photos to make up for my horrid horrid shitty stage. But I can't really be bothered about 2D… Julian hasn't always been nice to me… He doesn't even give me suggestions in class, like he does for everyone else… And I don't mind either… Probably cause of last semester. Oh well. Sharon spent all her money buying me a box of these insanely… Yellow… Lozenges. They made my entire mouth numb and I stood around drooling like a rabid dog for 15 minutes… Grrr… The lady at Marche over toasted my crepe!!! I hate being sick… I get hungry so fast… Then when I start eating, I get completely full. It's totally spastic and I hate not finishing my food… But I eat till the point of feeling nauseous… Bleaaaaahhhhh… Vomitting in unison… (cue Sara and Grace)
Okay okay… Enough procrastinating… BACK TO WORK!!! Last two days!!! BRING IT ON!!!

GARHHHHH…
Just sketched out my 35th cell. Shall ink it tomorrow cause my sore throat is getting near unbearable… Ugh…
Was supposed to have the trial shoot today… What happened? I don't know. A bit pissed because I could have done more work but spent time wondering if there was a shoot today. BAH. I even did the entire damn storyboard. Waste my bloody time.
I'm ending up with over 45 cells… Grrrrr… Can't possibly tell a story in 40 cells… maoh… I have a feeling I'll end up with the ugliest graphic novel in the world… I can see it already… It's ugliness is melting the damn paper…
Falling sick… Horribly… Constantly sleepy and thirsty… Drank an entire jug of water already… My throat hurts like crazy… Need to cram work tomorrow… CRAM CRAM CRAM!!!
Quote of the WEEK from Sharon: "I shall blow you everyday."
Quote of the day from me (apparently): "Stop trying to force things into my mouth."
We're all secretly perverted people…

I dreamt about you last night… That you held my hand… But when I tried to grasp your hand, you shrank away and disappeared behind a giant pile of empty boxes.
2
Or 28. I'm not sure if that number has any significance. You were looking for that number on the boxes. Funny how I can still remember. I normally forget my dreams the moment I open my eyes.
We didn't go prawning yesterday. Lu pissed my mom off by buying 40 dollars worth of useless pens from Popular… Pissed me off too… I could have gone out rather than stay home and sit out the stupid rain… It's so bloody ridiculous…
Alot of things to do this morning before filming later at night. Draw my graphic novel cells… Do the storyboard for Wei Liang… Garh… Too much work… Too little time… And I'm falling asleep again…
