Ever heard a song that just seemed to be singing your entire love life's story? One that, the second you heard it, all the times you've had together just starts flashing before your eyes? One that made your heart ache with the emotion you start to recall?
I found one last night on the radio.
Well, at first I thought it was just a cool ballad with an awesome tune. Rihana has always made such bubbly songs like SOS and Pon De Replay. The ballad tempo really helps bring out her voice. It was awesome. Till I went to look up the song and the lyrics.
It simply broke my heart.
Sigh…
I haven't been blogging about plenty of serious ramblings that have been niggling at the back of my mind recently. And as a result, once someone gets me started in a conversation even remotely related to these undiscussed topics, I launch into this whole tirade. Now the hottest topic on most people's lips is the controversial movie that is selling out in box offices all over the world, sparking questions of faith, and having the church and general religious public scrambling for a defense.
The Da Vinci Code.
MY version of fact or fiction.
Mind you, I'm typing this as I lie half dressed in my bed, insanely reluctant to get out of bed on this lazy Friday morning. I would just like to insert a little disclaimer here, just in case some rabid anti-ying comes up and kamikaze's my house or car. As much as I am a skeptic, I'm researching this entire issue in a more or less objective mindset. I'm just addressing this issue because I couldn't help but try to feed my insatiable hunger for knowledge (otherwise bragging rights to the phrase "Do You Know…")
Priory of Sion
The Priory of Sion (Wikipedia Reference) was registered with the French Government in 1956, from the French town of Annemasse. It was founded by Pierre Plantard (known as "Chyren"), André Bonhomme (known as "Stanis Bellas"), Jean Delaval, and Armand Defago. Although Plantard was registered as the General Secretary, he still maintained the position of power. The association was so named probably because of the nearby hill in the area that was quite a prominant feature, named "Sion". The Priory was dissolved sometime after October 1956 but was revived again by Plantard who claimed it was a cryptopolitical and masonic hub or something of the like. A letter at the Sub-Prefecture of St. Julien-en-Genevois has previously exposed Plantard as a con man (as mentioned in the movie "The DaVinci Code") and Plantard's reputation was kinda shot. Plantard claimed that the Priory of Sion was an offshoot from the Abbey of Sion, founded in the Kingdom of Jerusalem during the First Crusade. The Abbey was later absorbed by the Jesuits in 1617. According to the haox story, Plantard has forged documents that described the continuation of the Merovingian line of Frankis Kings. In over 100 letters between Plantard, de Cherisey and de Sede, they confirmed how to combat criticisms of their various allegations and how they would make-up new allegations to try and keep the whole thing going. They then sneaked the forged documents into the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF), in Paris. This was where researchers such as Henry Lincoln found them…
The motto of the Plantard family, and the Priory of Sion, was Et in Arcadia ego, as shown in two versions of a painting by Poussin (The Arcadian Shepherds), depicting the motto on a tombstone in the painting. This literally translated into "And in Arcadia I…". This has reportedly been an anagram for "I Tego Arcana Dei" which translates into "Go! I Conceal the Secrets of God".
Lol.
The Priory of Sion was supposedly led by a Grand Master or Nautonnier. The following list of Grand Masters is derived from Les Dossiers Secrets d'Henri Lobineau compiled by Pierre Plantard under the pseudonym of "Philippe Toscan du Plantier" in 1967:

Nicholas Flamel?? Isn't he from Harry Potter???? Among the list is Sandro Filipepi (better known as Botticelli)… Funny…
I'm reading a paper written by a university student somewhere regarding the history of the Priory gathered from an inordinate number of sources. So I will continue with this in another post!
Edit:
This is interesting…
DaVinci seems to have had a "thing" for John the Baptist, which seems quite consonant with the apparent "PoS" interest in Johannism (the idea that John was the true Messiah and Jesus a false one, or, alternatively, that they were equal co-Messiahs). Johannites believe that there was a secret teaching passed from John the Baptist to John the Beloved Disciple (whose given name was Lazarus, but he took the "alias" of John to honor the Baptist), and to a "John" ever since. (Supposedly, every PoS GrandMaster takes the name "Jean" as an honorary title, in addition to being known as "Nautonnier" or Navigator.) Pincknett and Prince believe Da Vinci put his own face on the Shroud of Turin (despite accounts which suggest it was first shown at Lirey 200 years earlier), which was confirmed to them by someone they believed to be a member of the PoS, "Giovanni".

Youre quite correct on this blog…
Youre indeed correct with this blog post!!!
