My bed… Lu says the mattress is too hard to sleep on. But I’m pretty comfortable on it…
My desk… Rather bare for now…
And my pride and joy… 3GHz of power, 2 320G hard drives, 3.5G ram, shit load of USB and firewire ports, cooler master body and cooling unit, NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500 (256MB memory size and up to 40G/sec bandwidth) and a 22″ Samsung screen running on DVI. It’s like having a Frankenstein under my desk.
though… The cover WAS some really awesome maroon in the shop… But is progressively turning a strange shade of dull pink… Very creepy… I love how I can peer into my computer’s innards though. Really cool. But I forgot about sound output so I’m resorting to my Sennheisers for now…crazy ass sounds…
I didn’t get the chance to test out my internet though. I thought my Cat 6 patch cable had problems so I loaned one from the Hall office. But apparently the entire NTU network was down today. I’ll have to check out my connection again another day. Socking things into the back of my computer always gives me the heebie geebies. The thin metal slots look so home brand that I can’t help but grin every time I look at it.
I can’t wait to get Maya and start work on it already. I’ve lost everything from Year 2 as it is, and if I even want to hope for a shot at internship before I graduate, I better start working on some projects to rebuild my portfolio.
Sigh… Next semester must work alot harder than I have ever worked for the past 2 years. Ignore the world. Just work. And you’ll be fine. Just bury yourself. And you’ll be fine.
