the future IS 250

National Day afternoon was spent at the Lexus showroom looking at this beast.

The Lexus IS250. The longitudinally mounted 2500cc V6 engine features 4-valves per cylinder actuated by dual overhead camshafts (DOHC) per cylinder bank. The engine block is aluminium, the cylinder heads are aluminium alloy and the compression ratio is a manic 12.0:1. The Lexus IS250 is fitted with a 65 litre fuel tank and will accept 95 RON and higher grades of fuel.

Max Power: 153kW @ 6400rpm
Max Torque: 252Nm @ 4800rpm
0-100km/h: 8.4 seconds
Max Speed: 225km/h

Sporty stuff. Though the GPS doesn’t come standard with the car. What DOES come with the ones sold in Singapore is a standard Mark Levinson sound system, but without the gorgeous body kit. MUST have the body kit. I’m still deciding between the black and graphite one. We took a look at the colors at the area upstairs which closely resembled something out of Need For Speed Underground!

Either this graphite color with the 2-tone grey interior…

Or the black with the black interior…

I like the black one really…=/ We went to take a look at the BMW 320i as well as a comparison… But quite frankly, it loses out terribly on price, looks and even functionality.

I got to sit in a Lexus 640! It was awesome. And I got to watch this very cool video and mtv thing…

Bake My Noodles Baby!

Sounds weird doesn’t it? I like the phrase. “Bake your noodles”. Hahahaha.

If I were on a deserted, sinking island, with nothing but 2 coconut trees, a dog and a balding chimp for company, and only one word to describe today, the word would be Harrowing.

The morning started with staring at the ceiling for 4 hours till 9am rolled around and I could get up and be on my way. But I only left hall at 10 and had to rush home to send Snowy to the vet. Quite a scare really… Sigh… It’s times like these that put things into stark, glaring, butt naked perspective.

Rushed back for photo-taking session, but I had class at 130 so I had to go when everyone arrived at 1. Forensic science was cool…

Talked some to Dixi, my room mate. She’s really a cool person. Shall need to remember to buy snacks back to share with her. =)

Time to go sleep. I need to find someone to second my election nomination.
