ARGH… I feel overly unproductive today.
In the morning, I rushed to finish my game design presentation and started on a game I happily named Bash Man. I took a grand total of 7 hours to finish my presentation (yes I work slow) mainly because I was simultaneously having 2 meetings concurrently, doing proposals, helping my roomie’ s with some designs, going back to school to help retrieve accidentally left behind hard-disks (aww… poor thing…), replying emails, scheduling more meetings… =\ 7 hours… I need to do things faster…
After this morning’s insane flurry of concurrent activities, inclusive of setting up a new bank account for the club, I finally got to sit down and rest for a glorious 10 minutes before it was up and away to class. Sigh…
Class today was uneventful really… We underwent some form of a quiz for GameMaker where I was asked to change the resolution of the game. One thing I had no idea how to go about doing. Sigh… Speaking of GameMaker and my class that induces intensive brow-furrowing, I have a holiday assignment from Game Design class! SHOCKING! I need to recreate pacman… =.= I’d much rather do Mario really. Side-scrollers rock socks man…
After class, I had my mandatory Tuesday Night Macdonalds in my room while gorging my brain with forensic science, in some nonsensical attempt at mugging for my midterms tomorrow. While watching an awesome 2.5 hour video on advanced drumming that Smadi had lent me over the week. He also lent me Tony Royster Jr but I can’t open the disk. So wasted. =\ The drumming style of Buddy Rich left me speechless. Fantastic sense of rhythm. After the video, I’m starting to count my beats different. 8 beats in every 2 bars. How those 8 beats happen is completely up to me. 4-4, 2-3-3. Drumming is like talking. We talk in phrases. In sentences. That we repeat over and over again. I just need to build up my library of sentences.
Tomorrow will be busy… Morning I’ll mop the floor… Fold my clothes… Then…

and after that I can go back and do my animation homework… =\ Busy busy…
