Shower revelations

Posted by Ying Huang on November 15, 2007

Showers are excellent times for self reflection; a great slice of “me time” in which we can all relax and indulge in some serious introspection. I learn a lot about myself during these periods of solitude.

Like how I’m living in constant fear that campus security would arrest me.
Or how I always check my tires for wheel clamps, even if I’m parked at home.
Or how I spin and skip around the corridor like a maverick flying saucer when no one is around.
Or how I seem exceptionally happy after short conversations wi
Or how I think aloe vera is the cure to everything from scratches to dry skin, from depression to headaches.
Or how I must have something to pick at during my exams otherwise I can’t think.

Like the huge, glowing red, subcuticular monstrosity leeching off the side of my forehead (aka massive imploding pimple – MIP). Though I kinda regret picking at my facial irregularities.

I should be doing work. Yet here I am, planning my weekend.

I need to do the following over the weekend:

- Car hunting with parents (since they’re selling their car)
- Buy a new wallet
- Get new slippers
- Finish animation showreel
- 5 page script for animation seminar
- agenda for meeting with dean next week
- sign the sao budget thingy
- photography class and submission
- study for animation history
- destroy pimple
- finish salad in the fridge
- pay hostel fees

How Did The Elderly Worker Die?

Posted by Ying Huang on November 15, 2007

Not a clue.

Then again, there were several clues (namely the livor mortis in his legs, strange bruise on his head, tyre tracks all over, footprints in the mud). But everyone had different answers for this 15 mark question in today’s Forensic Science exam.

Best one so far was that the motorcyclist threw a durian at the tractor driver.

Lol…

ONE EXAM DOWN! One more to go.

And the Dean just gave the Year 3 animators homework to be submitted next week. =\

My parents enjoy throwing bombshells at me whenever we speak. Today’s bombshell was that they are selling their car tomorrow. O.O

And in the search for an atomic bomb photo, I found this strange image of Miss Atomic Bomb.

Oh weirdness.

In other breaking news, Amy Winehouse was recently booed of stage at her opening performance of her British Tour. After slurring and stumbling about throughout the entire set, many fans got up and left the performance halfway. Comments from the horribly dissatisfied crowd included ” He said: “She came on stage half an hour late. She managed four songs but was slurring her words and swaying all over the place. She fell into the guitar stand and dropped the microphone – it was atrocious. The song dedicated to her husband was so bad it was like swinging a cat round your head.”

Well there you have it. Why she was in such a horrific state? Her emotional crash came after a visit in the morning to her incarcerated husband serving lotsa time in one of London’s undoubtedly fine penitentiary establishments.

There was a harrowing run-about in Bras Brasah this morning with Boo and Rong Rong, trying to find somewhere to mount our photographs. Not too sure about the one Boo and I finally settled on (rong went to Peninsular instead, having a really bad feeling about the one we chose. A bad feeling that is slowly starting to creep over me now). We were watching in silent horror as she rather violently handled this other girl’s work, smudged blue ink all over it, etc…

sudden calamity with budget… argh!
