So this is what I almost wore today. Until realizing I look kinda funny and it was really cold today (a lovely summer 8ºC) and opted for my wooly vest instead.
Work was pretty slow today. Probably because I spent alot of time doodling in my book. I started on a new doodle of Cloud! But first of all, his hair is too short, and secondly, I don’t know how his pants look like so I ended up just mucking about with the shading till it resembled a mottled tree trunk.
I left work early today to go down to Champs Elysée’s HSBC to check on the status of my missing ATM card. On the way to St Mandé station, I saw… Yet another burst drain pipe.
Paris has alot of water.
I hustled down to HSBC and after being told that my card is now in the Montreuil branch (and they didn’t tell me to pick it up), I hauled my ass over to Macdonalds’ to have dinner and leech off their WiFi. I even brought my laptop so I could use SSH to really hack into the code of my ipod. All this trouble to change my wallpaper… Tsk.
There was something wrong with the WiFi after a while. i think it is partly due to the huge number of people tapping away on laptops around me. =\
Went home after that and finished the drawing of Zack. Well, it’s not really finished. But after I drew the face, I decided I didn’t like the picture anymore and shall not continue on it.
Can you see the difference from yesterday? Face, shading, pants, darker sword… =\
Starting on a new drawing now, though I really shouldn’t so I can concentrate on making people die in animation. This is sketch 1 with some placeholders for shading… =)
I have a feeling this is going to be reeeeeeaaaaallly ugly.
