With my two short 15 minute breaks today, I’m now a sergeant! Sergeant Ying!

Tomorrow staff sergeant. LOL.
Something tells me I should be working.
But I have been! nearly 400 frames today, and 10 different cameras. On to the second last bit of my animation, and the finish line suddenly doesn’t seem so far anymore. This is a sign.
That I should slack off a bit now and blog. =D
Some new images from my animation today…

Excuse the last one. I gave up trying to pop a final gather in the hallway without resigning myself to an entire extra hour of work. Tomorrow… Yes… Tomorrow…
Crouched over my cluttered little workspace, talking to my two marimo and lathering myself with some anti-acne concoction, procrastination is king. But everytime I turn to look at my snuggly bed…

BEAR BEAR DISAPPROVES!
=\
Orh…

Now, I’ve finished the game several times already. Nothing says STRESS RELIEF like knocking off several hundred terrorists on Veteran mode. And there I was, thinking nothing could beat that…
Then I clicked Multiplayer.
=D
1.5 hours later, I’m Corporal Ying (=.= Why is it my name on the screen anyway)

Half hour breaks in between sessions of hair-wrenching animation is horridly distracting. But terribly fun. Makes me miss playing World Combat…
Almost done animating the first scene! I can actually toss it to render soon. I’ve plugged in all the shaders and lighting…
I LOVE FINAL GATHER!!!
=\ No I dont.
But I have to convince myself I do.
Back to work.

I love the times when my extended family gather. Lol. A whole bunch of Wees can only result in one thing. A conglomeration of short people punctuated with a healthy smattering of jokes that are beyond human comprehension.
Like “je meh” which literally means to “borrow sideways”. Huh. Lol. and for some reason this makes sense to them.
So we went on our annual qing ming trip this morning at the ungodly hour of 4am. So ungodly that nothing could rouse Lu and Yuan from their beds. So I ended up going with Pa alone. By the time we were done with everything (including an awesome breakfast at Mr Prata), it was 9 when we got home and I promptly fell unconscious on my bed (having showered, read the papers, and fiddled with Call of Duty 4 for a bit). Sleep came for only 2 hours and by 1130 I was up again. =\
Hence my current near catatonic exhaustion.
Shall go to bed after finishing this blend shape rig for my character… I can feel my liver shrivelling.
Did you participate in Earth Hour today? I did by turning off my airconditioning and working at my pc in the dark. And now…
My air con won’t turn back on.
Sigh…
And now for an update (like the rest of this wasn’t already).
I’m with someone now.
Someone sweet, caring, patient, and sometimes pleasantly annoying.
Isn’t that right Bear Bear?

Bear: zzzzzzz
Now we end with an ugly picture of a nice tree.

Now for some photos from my dad’s camera! Lol… He’s becoming a really awesome photographer in my opinion…

Tossing the notes, trying to get the “huat arh!” effect the other family down the road had (which involved a whole bunch of papers whirling in the air like a hell note tornado). =\ Didn’t really work out.

The Wees at Mr Prata! =D 11 Teh Tarik, 1 Horlicks, 1 Milo without milk (and one Milo without Milo).

American Idol is always a source for great songs…
I needed the shelter of someone’s arms
And there you were
Needed someone to understand my ups and downs
And there you were
With sweet love and devotion
Touching my emotion
I want to stop and thank you baby
I just want to stop and thank you baby
Oh yeah, how sweet it is to be loved by you
How sweet it is to be loved by you
I close my eyes at night
Wondering where would I be without you in my life
Everything I did was such a bore
Everywhere I went, you know I been there before
But you brightened up for me, all of my days
With a love so sweet and in so many ways
I want to stop and thank you baby
I just want to stop and thank you baby
Oh how sweet it is to be loved by you
How sweet it is to be loved by you
You were better to me than I was to myself
For me, there is you and there ain’t nobody else
I want to stop and thank you baby
I just want to stop and thank you baby
Oh how sweet it is to be loved by you
How sweet it is to be loved by you
I mean it’s like heaven above, don’t you know, to be loved by you
How sweet it is to be loved by you
How sweet it is to be loved by you

Step 1: Put Bear Bear outside so he won’t get dusty or stepped on.

Step 2: Struggle with the plugs

Step Three: Struggle with the drill (and me with the vacuum cleaner)

Step 4: Stomp on stool while struggling with blind

All the tools! Vacuum cleaner, Skoo-jeeooww-er, hammer and drill.

Is the big day.

In another 11 and a half hours I will be beginning the test I’ve been studying my hind quarters off for. I’m assuming the GAMSAT 2009 begins at 9 (considering the stipulated 8.15am arrival time) and should be going to bed in a while after revising my chem notes one more time. The paper is a hellish 5 and a half hours (not inclusive of breaks and collection of papers), lasting from 9am to, I would think, 3 or 4 in the afternoon.
Will the 1000 page medprep, 10 page Des O’Neill, 1 ACER practice questions booklet, 1 ACER sample questions booklet, 1 ACER practice test, 440 section 3 and 280 section 1 Ozimed questions and countless hours pouring over seemingly nonsensical mathematical garble make any difference?

I’m certainly hoping so.
Wish me luck. I’m covering my ears, holding on to my butt, and leaping head first into the pits of exam hell.
